We guarantee our upland bird hunting to be comparable to anywhere in the world. Your upland hunt with us here at Firesteel Creek Lodge will take you to a completely different ranch each day. You will hunt the never ending horizon of the upland grasslands as well as the beautiful breaks of the Grand River country with its heavy brush draws and coulees and thousands of acres of stubble and corn fields. Throughout the course of a day, you will have the opportunity to hunt several species of upland game including the ever popular and South Dakota world renowned Ringnecked Pheasant, the heart pounding Sharptail Grouse, and the ever elusive Hungarian Partridge.

A maximum of 3-5 will be taken in a group going on a Grouse/Partridge Specific Hunt. We only allow a Maximum of 10 Grouse Specifc Hunters at a time at Firesteel Creek Lodge.

                  --Any other airport there will be a pickup charge of $200 per hunter
        Our hunts do not include gratuities or hunting license (2011 License is $114)
        Shells are not included in your hunt. You may bring your own or buy some at
        the sporting goods store Scheels when we pick you up at the airport.
        We also have shells available for purchase here at the lodge in all Gauges
        Shipping is also not included for your birds-We ship next day air FEDEX
        Heated kennels w/automatic waterers are available for those who wish to
        bring there own dogs.
        Dogs are not permitted in the rooms at the lodge.
        To recieve exclusive rights to lodge you must pay for 16 or more
        spots regardless of number of hunters, if you book a group of 16 and do not
        bring 16 you will be charged for the hunters that do not show and the
        remaining hunters will have to split the charges

         A $1500 deposit per hunter is required to reserve your dates
         South Dakota Sales tax will be added to your package (2011 rate 5.5%)
         Guides and Staff gratuities are not included
