The Lodge

The main building at Firesteel Creek Lodge was built in 1916 by rancher T.B. Veal.  It was considered to be a turn of the century modern marvel of South Dakota.  Over five thousand square feet, the lodge invites our guests to come home and relax in the main level Living Room with its peaceful ambiance and view, great for reading or just watching the game on a Sunday afternoon. If your looking for a little different scenery head downstairs for a game of pool, or sit by the fire with a cocktail from the complimentary full-service bar. If a cigar is more of what you had in mind, step outside onto the stone patio and enjoy the sunset or the howl of the distant coyotes. With its many radiant heaters and 102 degree spa, everyone finds themselves out on the patio at some time during their stay with us.

Only steps away is the newest addition to Firesteel Creek Lodge. This 3500 sq.ft. addition was completed in the fall of 2005. Eight beautiful, comfortable, and homey rooms adorn the majority of the building with the new locker room finishing it off at the end. This room gives every hunter a place to store their hunting gear guns and ammo away from your room and the main lodge. Here hunters can get out of there boots and tell a few of the days stories while cleaning guns and getting ready for the next action packed day of hunting.
